Properly Shimming a Jackson Racing Supercharger Alternator

Failure to properly shim the alternator will result in belts being thrown, shredded, or quickly worn.

The alternator in a Jackson Racing Supercharged car typcailly has poor allignment using the stock spacers.  On a high boost and high rpm blower setup a properly/perfectly alligned alternator is critical to keeping belts on the car.

Washers are added between the alternator and the alternator bracket to properly allign belts. (Thanks to Thmanx for the picture)
